1. What remocast is
remocast.space is a 3D podcast studio that runs in the browser. With an account you can create rooms, decorate them, customize your avatar and invite up to six people per room to talk with live voice. The service is provided by remocast.space(Colombia).
2. Acceptance
By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 14 years old; between 14 and 17 you need the authorization of your mother, father or legal guardian.
3. Your account
- To enter a room you need your own account with real details: a name and an email address that is yours.
- Take care of your password. You are responsible for what happens with your account; if you think someone got in without permission, let us know.
- An account is personal: do not sell it, lend it or use it to impersonate someone else.
- You can have up to two channels per account.
4. Rooms, hosts and guests
- Whoever creates a room is its host: they are the only one who can decorate and change it, and they can close it whenever they want. The other participants customize their own avatar and react.
- Anyone with the room link and an account can join while there are free seats. Share the link only with the people you want to invite.
- The host is responsible for what they put in their room (images, videos, text) and must have the right to use it. As host you can record the studio (the 3D image and the voices) in your browser; everyone in the room sees the notice «Recording the studio». Before recording you need the other people's permission, and you are responsible for the file and how you use it. The same applies if you record what happens in a room by other means.
5. Community rules
On remocast you may not:
- Upload or show illegal content, sexual content involving minors, violent content or content that incites hatred.
- Harass, threaten or intimidate other people.
- Impersonate another person or brand, or use their photo without permission.
- Upload images, videos, logos or music you do not have rights to.
- Try to access other people's accounts or rooms, attack the service or use it to send spam.
- Use remocast for any activity contrary to Colombian law.
6. Your content
What you upload (photos, images, videos, logos, decoration, channels) remains yours. You grant us a free, non-exclusive and limited license to store, process and show it to the people in your rooms, solely so the service can work. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for what we must keep by law.
You guarantee that you have the necessary rights or permissions over what you upload. If someone tells us that content infringes their rights, we may remove it while the matter is clarified.
The remocast brand, its symbol, the site design and the software are ours, and you may not copy them or use them as if they were yours.
7. Moderation
remocast's administration may suspend or delete accounts and close or delete rooms that breach these terms, especially in cases of serious or repeated abuse. When possible we will let you know and tell you why. If you think we made a mistake, write to us.
8. Price
For now remocast is free. If we add paid features in the future, we will tell you beforehand and will never charge you without your express acceptance.
9. Availability
We work to keep the studio running well, but the service is provided as is, with no guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. Voice quality depends on your connection, on other people's connections and on the networks the call travels through: on some networks the direct connection between browsers may fail. We may change, improve or remove features.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of content, service interruptions or for what other people say or show in a room. Each person is responsible for their own content and conduct. Nothing here limits the rights Colombian law grants you as a consumer.
11. Termination
You can stop using remocast whenever you want and ask us to delete your account. We may terminate or suspend an account that breaches these terms, as described in section 7.
12. Governing law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. If they change in any important way we will let you know before the change applies; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version.
