What is remocast?
remocast is a virtual 3D studio for podcasts, interviews, classes and meetings. You build the room —walls, table, microphones, wall art, screens and lights—, put your face on an avatar that talks with your voice, invite your guests with a link and record the episode as a video. It works in the browser on a computer or a phone, and it’s free.
Who is behind it?
remocast is designed and built by Samuel González, a software developer in Colombia. It’s an independent project: the 3D studio, the avatars, live browser-to-browser voice, the camera that frames whoever is speaking and the desktop app all come from the same small team. It launched in October 2026.
Why does it exist?
Grid video calls are tiring and all look the same, renting a studio is expensive, and plenty of people with something to say don’t want to put their face in front of a camera. remocast seats everyone around the same table, on a set that looks professional from the first episode, and lets the voice take center stage.
